Where to ground an amp?

I have a 2000 4Runner and was wondering where the best place in the cargo area to ground an amp. I would like to use an exsisting bolt if possible.

grounding to an existing bolt is not recommended, especially since it is a device whose fluctuating power requirements require a good, solid ground.

i highly recommend the rear cargo (flat) area. there's plenty of places to choose from. also, scrape off some paint with a dremel sanding drum, pilot a hole, drill it and then secure a bolt/nut (or a metal screw) for a solid connection.

A wire wheel will work as beautifully as and easier than a sanding drum.

But I agree.

I guess something else is wrong with my setup because it wont work when I ground it there. I will go back and check over everything in the morning.
