Does anybody know how many inches it is from wheel well to wheel well or the smallest width in the trunk of a 4runner?

It's the one half way down on the page labeled "1 SVC Driver". Pretty simple and straight forward. Since you have one SVC 4 ohm sub you won't be able to drop the ohm load down to 2. You will be running at 4 ohm mono... but it will be bridged.

Saint Steve... That's fine. Thanks.

That is correct. Doink. You should see a label where the speakers are connected that says bridged. (It is usually the + on channel 1 and the - on channel 2) Run your speaker cable from the positive connection on channel 1 to the speaker post on the sub-box labeled positive, and run the other cable from the negative connection on channel 2 to the speaker post labeled negative on the sub-box. The diagram shows the cables connected right to the speakers, but they will actually go to the posts on the sub-box first and from the posts inside the box to the speaker...does this make sense?

Well, I dont have my new 4Runner yet, still looking for the perfect one but once I get it I was planning on buying one of the JL Pro Wedge series either 2 12" W6-v2's or 3 10" W6-v2's. Im leaning more towards the 3 10's now that I know the 34.25" box will fit and the 10's will be tighter and a little louder. What do you guys think?

I ran an 8" Solobaric L7 in a slot ported enclosure. The bass was tight, the amount of space it took up was minimal and it was loud !! 141.0 db's to be exact. It hit awesome and stayed clean. If you don't want to take up alot of room without sacrificing quality then that 8" Solo L7 is just the ticket. I have IASCA score sheets with my scores as well as pics of the sub and enclosure. It really won't take up alot of room at all.

Feel free to pm me or drop me an email if you want specifics or pictures.

I'm running one Image Dynamics 12" ID12.V2 sub in a small sealed enclosure powered by a Kicker KX600.1. I bought this for sound quality only, but it can get pretty loud Check em out...

Anybody know of any inexpensive crossover that will drive (with a built in amp) 4 speakers and 1 sub???

don't mean to hi-jack this thread, I just don't know much about stereos and what is necessary to get decent sound with 100W.

OK, anybody know anything on this. Seems like everybody wants loud stuff, I would assume a crossover is somewhere in the mix there...

Most decent head units will have active crossovers built into them. And most of the newer amps have them also. Find out if your head unit has them, and if it doesn't then you should purchase a 4 or 5 channel amp that has them. What current equipment do you have? Head unit? Amp? Speakers? If you are looking for a sub that sounds good, I'm not so sure that Sony Explode is gonna get it done.

I would go with a 10" infinity perfect in a .6 cubic foot box. They really rock and pour in some decent power like 200 wrms and you should be make some decent clean noise. and so you know the infinity 10" hits lower then alot of 12" subs. it is rated to 18hz ( huge surround for excursion ). just my 2 cents. I am going to do a PERFECT DVQ setup i think. good luck.
