Time for a new sub and amp

Alright here's the deal I already have a nice sub amp but I want a different setup. When I put my current setup in my truck I had a bench seat. So now that I have bucket seats I want to put a sub in the center console.
BTW my current setup is a 10" kicker CVR with a JL a4300 amp.
For the new setup I have decided to go with a 8" sub and a different amp. The two subs I'm looking at are the Kicker L7 and the JL W7 because face it they're the best on the market. They're both going to cost about the same. So my question is which sub sounds better, by better I mean cleaner.

Yeah, I was about to say, "Best on the market" is sort of a personal opinion.

My experience in car audio has always been this: Sound quality is 10% equipment, and 90% installation. Honestly, enclosure design will make more of a sound quality difference than which sub you pick. I would put it down to whatever fits better in your budget.

Yes!!! Enclosure design FTMFW!!!

Don't half-ass your enclosure, design it right, tune it right, build it precisely, and make it STRONG!

Oh yeah and if I had to choose between the two I would go with JL over Kicker. But that's just personal preference.

JL > Kicker has always been my experience.

JL also has enclosure designs on their website specific to the W7.

I would go JL.
