Actually, I had the lid off with a tube inside for the port but because the 5 gallon Blitz metal gas can is a wee small for the 10" sub it sounds better with the lid on. I need to swap out the foam stips inside for that cotton pillow stuffing stuff and I think that will be about the best performance.

Heres mine , its a 10" I also made the grill ,gaurd cover to protect it from whatever.The amp and inverter are on the same side of the truck behind the side panels.

I put a 2 pieces of 1" steel across where the jack was and attached the plywood to the steel.

when i built the cover I also put some corner pieces to the back of it so I could attach it to the plywood and 1" steel.

That idea actually helps the me decide on what im gonna do. i also thought about puttin a slim sub underneath the driver or passenger seat.

there's no way my sub would fit in a jerry can lol. but that is a sweet idea. my box takes up too much for my liking.
avenged any way we could get a pic of how the sub is mounted behind the grate?
