Sub Hubub
#1
My friend is selling my his Rockford Fosgate 360.2 (530 actual peak) Amp. Another friend is giving me a box for 2 10" subs. I'm now shopping for a couple decent subs. I dont want to spend more then 150 for both. I've been looking at (in order of preference) Infinity, Alpine, and Rockford Fosgate.
I'm not looking to shake the neighborhood, I just want some nice crisp bass.
Any other brands to look into (JBL)?
What wattage should I look for (These will be bridged with amp running in 2ohm)?
Any good/bad comments about dual voice coils?

I got two RF 10" subs for less than $40 and coupled them to a 400-watt MA Audio amp in my brothers Ford F250 pickup and it sounds incredible.

True, its not like the box is ported or anything,
If the box is too big he could throw in something to "occupy" internal volume....
Seems like theres quite a big difference in speaker box Vol reqs on the per speaker basis, especiallly dealing with so many variations in vehicle internal volume

I think I'm going to buy a diffrent box. The one I was given is a huge bandpass that's not in the best condition anyway. I just want a couple 10s that will run efficiently (not under powered) off this Amp.
