Q-logic/Q-forms kick panel enclosures

I was browsing Crutchfield and stumbled across these.

I like the setup but was curious if the speakers got in the way?
Anyone using these? Any feedback would be great.
Thanks

You will lose a little foot room, and the're not very deep, ecu right behind the passenger kick, so you're gonna be limited on speaker selection... I ended up putting components in the doors with baffles, sounds great and out of the way.. start your cut 7 stitches from the inner edge of the door panel and your speakers should fit right in..

I saw a set on ebay a while back. I was going to bid but they take too much foot room so i passed. I think either door speakers or speaker boxes would work better.

I wish there was an install thread on door speakers just to see the exact placement and look. I'm trying to figure out if I'll need spacers for these alpines I just got but I guess I'll just have to get the door apart and figure it out.

Got my Alpine type s 6.5's in the doors with no wing windows and no spacers. Just good placement far forward in the door works out. A half inch spacer wouldn't hurt as the back of the speaker is touching the window track but it sits flush.
