I did this, its possible. I had two tens behind the seat, But you need to build your own box. 5 1/2 inches at the bottom, and 3 1/2 at the top. You'll have to slide your seat up 1 click or so but you can make it work. (Hope your not tall)
I built two seperate boxes, one for either side of the truck, and put the amp in the middle.
I spent 100 dollars in my system with two 10's and a 400watt amp and i was putting guys with 12's to shame.

Ill draw something up for you and post it if i get a chance.

Those tens need space to breathe. With the seat in the way, it's hard to get the sound right. I knew a guy that had a little bandpass box on the passenger side on the floor, and it sounded good. Not too practical, though.

True, but the secret to getting around that is to stuff the box with cotton, it makes the speaker think its in a bigger box.

My two tens were rolling down my windows when maxed out, and they sounded amazing.

Hey, don't be afraid to put big power to the doors! I had a Blazer with like 600 watts (600 REAL watts) going to all four doors, sounded crazy. Had to keep up with six 12s in the back...

You lose a lot of bass from the seats canceling out sound.

Hope this is descriptive enough, I did this in my spare time at work lol

Use 1/4" or 1/2" plywood, PLENTY of wood screws, and caulk from the inside and out, carpet them whatever color you like, go to wal-mart and get a bag of cotton, use half the bag for either side, then set your 10's in and your good to go.

try to stay away from plywood if your building a box. although plywood will work, it is not the ideal type of wood to use as a subwoofer box. I suggest using MDF to build the box with. Depending on your budget and the type of sound you desire you can go a few different ways with the system. you can use one 4 channel amp and use 2 of the channels for your door speakers, and you can bridge the remaining two to power a single 8",10" or 12" sub depending on the amps rating and the subs rating. or if you want to go louder, you can run two 2 channel amps, one for the sub(s) and one for the door speakers. there are several ways to do it, its mainly going to depend on your budget.

Yeah It can be done for sure...I actually had 2 12" subs in one box behind my seat...it took a good bit of lookin to find a box that would work, but i found one, It didnt sound awesome, but they were only 20 dollar walmart subs so i dont know how much you can take from that! haha but I mounted the amp to a piece of plywood that was covered in felt, and it worked awesome! Hope this helps

I would get a ported box, go to a local audio store and get them to build you a box specially made for your truck, its the best way to go, it does cost a little money to do, but your system will sound great and not distorted, hes right, it does need some breathing room, but with that, you should get all new door speakers and throw some tweeters in it. Good radios that have great sound quality are kenwood or clarions, both extreamly good radios

so i have an extra cab nd im way into systems =]
i suggest running two 8's they are small yes but in your case smaller is better you can build a better sounding system with the same amount of room =]
im running two re audio 8's and they sound really good and i have a big amp so they are running on way to much power (because i plan on getting two more)
oh keep in mind too that one sub in a very well designed box (built to the specs of a sub) can sound much better then two in a not so hot enclosure =) have fun with your subs haha

post some pictures also i would like to see the build
