Yeah, the SAT radio has a ton, but my car radio ONLY tunes into strong stations. I can't tune it to 88.1 or any channel that doesn't pick up a station. The channel it is tuned now doesn't pick up in Temecula, but is strong in Chula Vista where my mom lives.

I did notice that when the SAT radio is in view of the antenna my reception gets better, so that is why I was thinking of mounting up by the map light.

No worries for now, it's not going to go into the 4Runner just yet.

It's going in the Previa. I don't have any problems in the Previa even with the antenna sitting on the dash.
