Red face Pocket Below Stero (Crutchfield)

I'm planning on buying an Alpine system from www.crutchfield.com. But there is one problem the kit they send to install the stero with makes me eliminate my pocket below the stero. I've done it before on my other car and I don't want to do it to my truck. How can I keep the pocket? Thanks

post a pic real quick of an '87 like yours, however im suspecting that you do not need a dash kit and the only way you'd loose the pocket is if you went with a double din HU....

You will need a metra 801763 for the toyota harness and you MIGHT have to replace the pocket with a different pocket, but I doubt it. If you do it's a metra 88008000 (or 80008800 im dyslexic)

Anyhow find me a pic real quick and I can let ya know.
