I have a 98 4Runner SR5 and I'm thinking about swapping out my front components and I do know how to remove the door panel. Do the Black A Pillars just snap right out? Quick, stupid question from a newbie, thx for any Help.

yeah, they snap right out, pull from bottom/middle i think

use a small flat screw driver and carefully par them lose

 

If you have a grab handle, you have to pop off the covers, unscrew the screws, and then remove the handle. and then you pop off the a pillar trim

note: those screws are a bizatch to get off. i mean, they are there for keeps!
