Need help wiring a stock Toy stereo

I am building a sound system for my boat and decided to put my stock Toyota deck in it. I bought a harness so I could wire it but when I did a test wiring I found some problems.

The stereo will not work unless the Dimmer +, Dimmer -, and Amp+ are all hooked up.

Should I hook the Dimmer+ and Amp + to the 12V switched or 12v constant?

Didn't have an answer but, thought the harness info might help.
