need help figuring out power of amp!?

I bought a sub from a friend and he gave me an amp for free. I already have an amp so I am not using this one, but I thought I might stick it in the boat or something. Except I dont know the power of it and I cant find it anywhere online.
Its a Kingwood (NOT kenwood, yea Kingwood, never heard of it). Model number: KWR-600. 4-Channel, 2-ohm/4 ohm stable, 15A fuse. Ive looked everywhere to find the wattage, but cant find it. Can anyone help?

600 in the model number may point to 600 watts peak to 4 channels.
Divide that by 4 for the 4 channels and that is 150 max per channel.
Now divide that by two because the RMS is usually half of the max.
That is for a 4 ohm load. In 2 ohms you can get 150x2 channels.

I notice on lesser amps they rate them at max power to make them sell.

I can be wrong, but it may be a little more or a little less.

Correct me if I am wrong.

My Alpine can push out 170 watts RMS and is rated for 125 per channel RMS.

it's probably a little less as it's only got a 15amp fuse.

It's probably 50watts per channel

Well, seeing that its a 15A fuse:
15A x 12V = 180W (peak)
180W / 4 Channels = 45W (Peak)
45W / 2 = 22.5W (RMS)

probably less due to inefficiencies in the amp, so figure around 15-20WRMS x4 @ 4ohm

I put in a 50x4 (16-18Wx4) head unit, and it had a 15A fuse...

Who knows if it's the right sized fuse.

I know people who run a lesser amp fue just for added protection.
I also know people who run without fuses cause they think it robs them of power. I would just like to hear about a fire one day so I can say "I told ya so".
