First Gen 4runner High Output Alternator

I'm about to buy a 2400 watt amp for my '86 4runner and I want to get a higher output alternator to power it. I've heard of people swapping in GM alternators, but would that be just a bolt-on or would that require a lot of modding to get it to work? What other options do I have for high-output alternators?

I know where I can get an alternator from a 97 chevy with a 350. Would that bolt straight on with this bracket?

Several threads on here if you search about alternators...

And check the usual suspects. LC Engineering comes to mind...

I actually ended up going with 2 1600 watt amps. They have 2 40 amp fuses each. Im running 2 KnuKonceptz KCA 4 gauge wiring kits with 80 amp fuses plus a Big 3 upgrade.
