dvd screen prob

dvd screen prob

i have wired up a new dvd and screen, iv done all the wiring......
2 yellows to batt
2 red to ignition
2 black to earth.
remote and rca's to amp.
now the player plays the dvd and it comes up on the screen for 2 seconds and then goes dark but is still there just.
does anyone know if its a wrong setting or faulty screen?
iknow its not a color,contrast, tint or av setting

Did you hook the orange wire up? If so, DISCONNECT it.

no i worked it out, it has a minimum of 10.2 volts to operate, my battery was only 9.6 volts as its been parked for a while waiting for a broken leg to heal.
