Looks sweet, how thick did you have to go with the spacers for the front and rear doors?

12mm on the rear doors, but due to the size of the speaker some modification needed to be done on the door card. Will pull them of and take some pics later. Dan

Great work so far Dan! Can't wait to see the finished project!

Oh and kind of off the topic....what kind of boat is that behind your rig? At first it looked like a Zodiac type boat, then I noticied the fiberglass hull. Never seen anything like it before!

Airspace

Do you know approximately how much airspace this box is? Also, how much clearance do you have for Mounting Depth of the subwoofer? Some of the newer subs have some massive baskets. Lemme know, this might become a nice project.

Great work.

There are more and more shallow mount subs coming out all the time. You can get 10's and 12's that are only 3.5" deep.

Right, I'm aware of the shallow mount Subs, but I'm getting ready to upgrade to a JL W6v2 or a JL W7, which both have large baskets.

Neither of those subs would be anywhere close to fitting in an enclosure like that.

What are you using now for an enclosure?
