anyone with an overhead monitor???

has anybody installed a overhead monitor in their 4runner? the only thing is i have a factory sunroof installed so was wondering if there is a way to get one in there without affecting that. i know with no sunroof it wouldn't be a problem but have seen them on vehicles with sunroofs. anybody do this? let me know. thanks

I assume you are taking about a monitor for (the kids in) the back seat.
I'm sure it would be possible to do...
Here's a link for one that might work

never done it myself though... they do have cheaper screens but they require a separate video source...
You need to remember though that with the screen down your inside rear mirror vision will be blocked. You might consider going with two smaller screens in the head rests like these

as an alternate idea...

I already have a dvd player that I could use a separate video source. my headrests in my 4runner are small and fimsy, not putting monitors in there. also, i have installed a seat where the 3rd row area is so my 4 yr old sits there with my 2 yr and newborn in the 2nd row seat. i figured if i got a drop down then both my 2yr and 4yr can see it. also i don't need the best just something that works. i don't want headrests ones. not gonna be on all the time so blockage for drivng not a problem

If you have the video source crutchfield has some monitors that are much cheaper then that 1st link you should be able to backtrack from the link though... they even have one that is 14"...that should be big enough lol...
