Amplifier Mounting

Ok, when I installed my Rockford amp and subs a few months ago, I tried to mount the amp to the back of the rear seat with screws, but it kept pulling right back out. :pat: What kind of hardware do I need to mount this thing, or is there a better place to put it? Right now it is just sitting on the floor of the cargo area. Any ideas woud be appreciated. Thanks.

The amp wouldnt wit under the drivers seat? Or do you have something else under there? For the back od the seats, i would mount a peice of wood to what beems you can find so its solid, and then mount the amp to that. There must be some sorta beam back there.

Funny ou should ask this, I just pulled off my bass RF amp yesterday.

I had to pull it off so I could remove my Wet Okole seat covers I am selling.
All you need to do it have big washers on the back of the seat which are behind that carperted panel.

My amp kept falling off and pulling out the screws until I used real bolts, nuts, and the flat washers.
It will not fall off at all if you do it my way.
