amping ?

Is there any reason on a stock cd player in a taco why I can't amp the speakers right off the back of the head unit?

Im not sure what you mean by that, but no stock radio has RCA outs (low level outs.) If you want to amplify your 4 speakers then you need to either buy an amp with high level inputs or buy 2 highlevel converters.

Ok well this is what I was thinking I could do. I have a 2 channel amp and I wanted to get an RCA adapter thing that you wire into the speakers. Wire one of those into the rear speakers to send the signal to the amp. After that then I would run the signal from the amp to each speaker of the truck. Putting 2 speakers into the left side and 2 speakers into the right. I know this is not optimal but I have an extra amp and I am to cheap to go buy another one.
