Question '92 4Runner Speakers?

hey y'all. My boyfriend wants to put new speakers into my 1992 4Runner and I was just curious what size they were. My dad has some that are 6.5 inches but I think those may be too big. Idk tho. Please help. Thanks -Sara

you can make them fit in the door with a little cutting, or a kick pod. I'm going with the door option (and building some pods for fun)

If you want 6.5's (and it really is a good idea, because there is NO low end from the factory sizes), an don't want to cut into the door, then this is your easiest option:

Some people complain about them being a little flimsy, and certainly custom made ones are better, but it's a really good option for a lot of people.
