88 4runner

I wanna put a 12 inch sub in my 1st gen 4runner but I'm nervous about it gettin wet when I have the top off is there any way I can prevent it from getting too wet

Build or buy a down firing sub box, get a marine sub or a sub with plastic/rubber coated cone/dustcover/surround.
