I had boston 4" in a previous truck. They weren't too bad. I went with Infinity Kappa 4" this time and they have distinctly better sound.

I went to Tweeter and asked the car audio salesman what a good set of speakers would be and he told me the 4" Boston Acoustics (RX47), And the 6.5 Boston Acoustics (SX65) were great and would fit a shallow depth like ours. I have yet to get them because I am an MB Quartz guy, but am considering them.

you gotta be careful with salespeople. sometimes they get "incentives" from manufacturers trying to sell their particular products. buy what sounds good to you, not what someone else says is good.

Yes, Tweeter works on commission.

No, you can't go wrong with Boston Acoustics (to MY ear, anyways).

As above noted, though, the most ipotrant thing is that YOU like the sound. NOTHING will have as big an impact on the sound of your system as the speakers!
