So that I'm finally adding a radio and dash speakers to my truck I figure I'd go 'all out' and also add in some 6.5" speakers in the door, because I know 4" speakers will be lacking.

I know that the window will hit speakers if I don't use a spacer, my question is how big of a spacer do I need? 1/2"? 1"?

Also what is a good way to wire this? I have a fully manual car so I don't have any wiring harness from the door to the dash. How should I pull the wires to avoid pinching/damage
