I do like everything you've made!! Thanks, Blake!

I'll help with the content for sure, and by the end of tonight if you tell me which image you want on the splash page, I'll get that up.

Okay, well, I think I'll use the square one with all our trucks overlapping as the image for the splash page ... then, we can take that one off of your prototype so that there is more room for text in the center section and not so many pictures right there (other than the main top long one and the one at the bottom) ... do you know what I mean? Do you think that might work? Like we could do it as frames so the top frame is the graphic (with our trucks and tx4roc.com like you put) and the menu, and then the center frame would be where the text/sections show up, and the bottom frame would have another pic. or whatever. How does that sound?

Blake, is there any possible way to blur out our license plates in that big overlapping picture?

My internet connection is incredibly slow right now. I’ll upload it when it’s working properly again.

Updates have been made

TX4Roc
What other links can we add and what could we remove?
Any suggestions would be great now cause it's a pain to make changes in the design later. Thanks.

Looks great Blake! Maybe there could be a page for links to yotatech, TX trails websites, offroad gear, etc. What about using the TX 4ROC sticker logo somewhere also? Keep up the good work. Later.

also, how about a link to a tech section? i know a lot of us have done things to our trucks that we could post to help others ... and yeah, links (and members can email us to add other links) ... anyway, that's great!

can you send me your html file and i'll mess around with it a little too?

Yup, that can all be done. Someone e-mail me the final logo that was created. I didn't really keep up with that so I don't know which one to use. 4Route just view source to see the HTML. It's not too involved right now. I'll be throwing in some CSS to make it compatible with all the browsers.

Blake, I think I'll mess around with it and make it into a set of frames. And before you put in the CSS, let me know and I'll give you the info you need to upload your html directly to the site ... that way, if I make any changes then you can also make your changes directly. Give me a little while and I'll add the frames.

Why are you putting in frames?

why not? i just figured that way, when someone clicked on a section, that section would be displayed in the mainframe without having to reload the entire page.

Rather than do that, I have an idea. I'll try to splain. I'll be using Flash to create the majority of the site. The top part will be the logo. The middle part will be the navigation bar. These two will never change. The bottom part will be our content holder. I can control the content swf with the nav_bar swf. If someone clicks say rigs the rigs swf will in turn take the place of the existing content swf. It works much like frames but you don't have to deal with browser compatibility issues.

About the flash and you being able to update it.
The flash movies in essence will be blank. I'll be using XML to load our data such as text and pictures. You'll be able to update the site by updating a simple txt file. You'll also be able to update the images by simply renaming images on the server.

Sound ok? or should we stick with frames?
