Posting priveleges
Hello all,
I am brand new to the forums and the happy new owner of an 84 2wd standard cab pickup. I'm looking for some parts for a systematic upgrade while still driving it and I can't yet post in the WTB forum in classifieds. I don't want to make a bunch of garbage posts without purpose or post to an inappropriate forum. How many posts are needed to post a new request in the WTB forum? Is there an alternative way to access that forum? I'm looking for a bench seat and the parts to convert my current doors to the vent window style. Right now I have a bench seat in desperate need of reupholstering and solid front windows. I'd prefer to not make my truck undrivable while reupholstering my seat. From what I've read so far in the forums, most people don't like the bench seats so I'd be happy to take one off someone's hands for a fair price as long as the mechanical bits are good.
I'm in NH and any help would be appreciated.

Unless something has changed, you will need at least 15 meaningful posts and have been on the forum for at least 15 days to post in the classifieds.
If you want, you could start a thread on your Truck to document what you have done to the Truck already and what you plan on doing to it.

Thanks for the information and the advice. I haven't done much to the truck yet but I could start a thread with some current pictures, what I know of the truck's last 2 owners and what I have on my to-do list.
