firefox favicons?

Can we get one for YT?

I use this one for NE4ROC.org and the NE4ROC forum:

Oh, you mean the icon that goes into the address bar.

  1. convert jpg or gif using online "favicon.ico" generator.
  2. upload to root directory

FYI - I learned yesterday that Joomla requires a PNG, not an ICO file for this.

16 x 16 might be tough to make out the detail tough.

you can do it in photoshop... just go to save as and in quotes type "favicon.ico" and it will save it as an icon file.

then upload to the root dir.

i have also found it helps to put

Clear your cache - favicon in da' haus...

Eli - FF doesn't need that, does IE7 need that? Historically IE hasn't displayed them.

ie7 does display them. everything else about ie7 sucks

i couldnt get it to work on one of my sites till i added that code.

so i just added it to every site

Is that the little icon we used to have instead of the stupid default IE icon next to the addres up there? Caus eI used to have one, and I use IE (not 7 here at work) and then it went away, but now it is not back...just curious
