Hi folks ,
I came here to learn and well , right away I would like to contribute . I recently bought the serpentine ( drive) belt for my 2nd gen Tacoma . I read the how to in this forum and got the pulley diagram . Everything was perfect …… except the article said to rotate the tensioner pulley clockwise when in fact … my vehicle needed to be rotated counterclockwise.
So, I wound up busting the bolt loose and that was when I figured out …. Hahaah , wrong way .

No big deal and all is well , 183,000 and the belt was old but not badly cracked or damaged . I hope this helps someone like myself and saves you a few minutes of playing with the tensioner .
