well, after denting my hood such that it would no longer "pop" when i pulled the latch and cracking one of my h4 conversions :pat: i decided that headlight hoops were a necessity
i still havent decided whether or not i like them

ill try to remember to take some pics in the sunlight but flat black over flat black isnt exactly the best for contrast

Any side shots? It looks great, but it looks like it only mounts to the actual frame in two places where the stinger part attaches. If that is the case, you might want to consider more connections to the frame, that will make it much stronger, especially if they are on different planes.

no side shots really, it attaches at the bottom of the stinger to the frame and the spring hanger and then the winch plate is welded to the front x-member and the tube. the bumper is strongest down low where the winch pulss from. the only way to really brace the top part is go through the core support to the frame or to the shock towers, but its strong enough for my uses as is.

my turn signals are $2.99 from the trailer section at autozone. originally i had the turbo blinker problems because of the small bulbs but i went back and found the highest wattage bulb that i could fit in there. now they work normally.
i scored some free LED strips that are 3/4" wide by 12" long i might throw up there but i havent decided.

It looks nice and clean being up tight like that... but there's no room for give! I'd think you would prefer a little room so that if you hit something (or roll) it wouldn't push the bumper into everything it's supposed to protect.
Aside from that, I really like your design!

Maybe it will be as issue and maybe not but on mine I was worried about pushing the edges back inward if I hit simething hard so I braced straight out from the front hanger to the main tube on the side. It looks like it would be really easy on yours but maybe look funny since you already have a tube on a similar plane just further up/in.
Don't know if it's necessary but I wanted the sides to stay put. I know you already saw this on Pirate but thought I might mention it in case you do have any issues.
