Man, that is absolutely cherry! Beautiful job.
I have to say, I like it better with the bed still on, but your rig is killer!!
Thanks for the extra work of updating the site over the year and allowing me to dream a little bit. LOL.
as we say here in HI "SOLID!"

well i havent done much with the four runner in a while but its finally time for some more tube. ill be making the exo and cutting the inner fenders and fenderwells out of the front to tube evrything. today i just started planning what im going to do with everything under the hood. i got rid of pretty much everything i dont absolutely need and i think i got it figured out. then i took off the grill and cut a little out of the inner fenders to make everything easier to access. tomorrow im going to start doing some re wiring so ill update then. heres a couple pics.

well i havent been working on the 4runner a whole since the last time i posted but i have managed to get some stuff done. so far i have relocated the fuse box inside, cut off the whole front clip and built a new winch plate. here are some pics of what it looks like currently. oh and i think i am going to try and use a grill off an 01 taco.
i put the winch back as far as i could and i should end up with a pretty good approach angle unlike the allpro bumper. i should have some more updates this weekend

Wow this looks great. That front end is what I was drawing out for mine. Now I can see it more clearly cause you beat me to it. Sharp looking. Are those tacoma conversion fenders?

Reminds me kinda of my plans for the front and whatnot when I finaly get some money and time to start my cage. I actualy thought about looking for a newer 2001+ front grill like you have there. Im gonna keep my stock one and trim it down since I also cut out all my front and am gonna tail it in. Im thinkin about the new audi headlights with the LED "swoosh" if you know the ones im talking about. they look so sick.
Looking real sick dude

WOW! What an awesome build! I have really enjoyed reading through this over the last couple days. So have you been doing all this work by yourself?
So is the going to be the final position of the fenders? Just curious, if so, why didn't the cage go on the outside of the fenders to allow you to get the fender more in the original position so the body lines line up? Have you considered putting the headlights just below the bar they are mounted over, just to show of the grill a bit more?
I am living in Thailand now and there are a lot of Double cab Hilux' of this generation that yours reminds me of. But yours is actually nicer styling with the sloped back window area instead of the pick up back window area being totally vertical.
I also liked how you said you are going to do a little inner fender trimming. Turned out to be more of an inner fender removal!
Incredible work man, great imagination and skills! I will definitely be watching the rest of your work.
