Rollcage Questons??

I need a cage and I guess I might go with the Allpro in cab cage kit. An exo cage is in the future but the more assurance the better. Anyone on here have an AP cage and have slammed it, or know someone who did etc... How did it do? I just want something that's really safe in case I go tumbling down a hill. Any suggestions are appreciated..

Spread the load out on the floorpanels with some good sized plates, and use a different size for the backer on the underside so it doesn't tear out too easily. Preferably tie it into the frame, but in my opinion it's more beneficial to build your seat mounts into the cage. Oh, and triangles are your best friend.

Note: I am not an expert on cages... FWIW...

Most "kits" can do quite well out of the box. Most can benefit from a couple bars added longitudinally along the doorsill and some added triangles for strength. That said, my old Hobrect (no longer made) kit has saved me a few times without any mods at all. I do plan on upgrading it though, certainly can't hurt.
