i found a place that sells the rear wheel arch quarter patch but it is listed as hilux and i have a 1g 4runner are they the same they look close but im unsure

 

They're basically the same shape, but some of the truck beds (IIRC, depends on year & Japanese vs. US bed) were split down the side horizontally & bolted together...right at the bottom body line; so check that out. It'd be best to see a pic or see them in person before handing over your $$...
