Rear shock mounts

Just picked up a 1984 4Runner that I am slowly getting ready to roll. While I was under it I noticed this sucker only had 3 shocks. It appears the right rear upper shock mount was gone. It does have a 4'' Downey lift.

My question is- Is there a better way to mount up these shocks, or should I just weld up a stock mount? I have done some searching and I see the kits that relocate the mounts to the center of the axle to prevent leaf spring rub. I am not going to be rock crawling or anything super serious. It will be a DD with some light trail riding.

I have sorted through all the other discussions, but none seem to really pull the opinions together and say what is the best multi use suspension setup.

Does anyone have a stock mount laying around or know where to get one? Pictures of fabricated setups would be nice.

I have not been under a 84 for quite some time .

Just what sort of mounts do they have ???

The same as the later eighties??

I would just get a used one weld it in and be done.

A new one from a newer model or make one from scratch

What ever turns out to be the most cost effective.
