Question, anyone make their pickup front clip removable from the cab. ( inner and outer fenders and Radiator support) For better access to the engine compartment?

I haven't made a removable one, but have done several engine cages with some little skins over it, great access to the engine compartment, problem is that you have to do a little re-wiring and re-locating battery. check it out http://www.nffab.com/mikes.htm

I made my core support removeable when I converted my pickup to 95 4Runner headlights. It made it a lot easier to do an engine swap.
You can see the bolts in the pic. I think I used 5 on each side. I welded the nuts to the backside.

I've noticed the owner of that truck is running a Warn Tabor9K winch.. Do you know how he like the winch and how its held up?
Thanks.

The Tabor 9K winch is the old style of warn winch, it is a great reliable winch, just slow when compared to the modern models that warn sells. I have one and have used the crap out of it. I love mine, and everyone that has bought one from me has loved it. Not one problem. I would definately recommend them if you are on a budget.
