New FatMouse OffRoad Rear bumper !!!

Fantastic design doc! Another winner... I was going to suggest that an integral hitch receiver would make it more popular over here, but I seem to be wrong lol... I love the nice clean lines on it... one concern would be that NA number plates are a different shape and would require a different plate mount.
3mm thick side plates is a good thing! nice and solid they will provide a little side impact protection...
Doc told me they were in negotiations with a NA fab shop to build their bumpers under license or something so there should be news on NA availability soon.

You guys should patent the design and sell it if you can't manufacture the bumper yourselves. I know a lot of people that would like to have one in the states.
Designs, brand, webpage are already registered... we hope in the future we can do something in the States. We would love too. Let´s see if the world gets a bit more quite.
I would love to see a design for a 3rd Gen.

Dont take this personal. BUUUTT *I would have chopped up the fender flares and had the wrap around go all the way to the fender*
Sorry, I don´t understand exactly what you mean ...

I need to improve my english ...
But regardless it looks great anyway..

CescWhat a ridiculous thread. How the heck does anyone create a bumper like that in their first attempt while trying to learn how to weld? Doesn't everyone know that first time projects you always use an angle grinder, never take close up shots of your welding and always have to use a sledge hammer during many parts of the process...???
Have you considered what it means to reach perfection with your first bumper?
My friend... you have surely doomed yourself to a life of disappointment by setting the bar so very high on your initial project. Good luck living up to those standards of fabrication.
I swear we let our skin on this second project.
We hope we reached the target...
Beers for everybody !!!

Holding off on the stickers for a while doc need to get some cleaning done on the truck first and pick the best spot.... thinking of going for a tailgate placement for one at least... would do rocker panels but I discovered a little cancer there which will need repainting after repairs (when I can afford them).

Yeah I love how it replicates and even improves on the stock side extensions.
BTW doc great job on integrating the rear fogs into the bumper.

Sorry to post on such an old thread, but very nice! Nicest bumper I have seen for the 4runner in my opinion.

Keep letting them know how much you like it. They are working on setting up an NA production shop... just be patient everyone this is very much a hobby biz/side line for them. doc is busy in his practice most of the time...

^^well in that case sign me up! If you (drfakoo) end up selling it I would definitely buy one of those bumpers from you i've never seen a better looking rear bumper. The only thing i would change is i might put diamond plate where you put the textured plastic piece and i agree with aviator to have an integral hitch receiver for over here but regardless im a big fan and would still buy it reguardless. Great work
