I'd say if you make another one, make the ends curve around under the turn signal. It looks like you could seriously hook something and tear it apart (like another vehicle or someone's granny). But that's just me thinking after driving straight for 15 hours with no sleep lol
Looks great tho, definitely a lot like a smittybuilt.

wii_tarded- it wouldn't cost a whole lot to make but shipping from newfoundland, canada, would cost more then it would to buy one or have one made up near you.
NicCantDecide- the bumper dont stick out like the pic make it look but i could see it hooking something. my original idea was to have it wrap under the park lights, but the bender i was using couldnt do 90 degree bends, so they would have been sticking out and would be even more of a hook hazard and look like a steaming pile of dog poo
thanks for all the compliments guys, hopefully it wont be the last of my mods to this truck

Looks good.
The steel shop that I buy my steel from carries alot of handrail stuff. They sell, in different sizes, tight 90* turns. IF you want to have the tubes wrap under the sides you could find some and weld them on.

Bushwhacker- haha that's just my hand break cable lol .... Ive been meaning to strap it up but i keep forgetting lol
Gerdo- thanks, that's something i may look into, although its not exact 90s ..... more like 75 to 80s, because you cant tell from the pic, but the 2 bars going across have slight bends in it to follow the way the headlights angle back from the grill. like its straight in font of the grill but angles back slightly by the headlights to kinda follow the factory lines.i hope that makes sense ... it works in my head. hah
scuba- well the pipe is galvanized so that shouldn't be an issue.... the only places that aren't, are where i cut on the ends, and where i grinded it off for welding. (hmm... now that i think about it that probably burned off from the inside with the heat as well .... ) i will defenantly have to look at that. thanks for the tip!
