Ok, so I bought a crappy pipe bender from eBay. I have tried all kinds of things to bend my tubing (even some pipe) and it just folds them in half. I really want to get my soft top finished but I cannot without a proper bender. Is there anyone in the Houston area with a tube bender I could come over and use? I will bring beer (or soda if you don't drink).

 

Try filling your tube with sand before bending it.

 

take it to your local muffller shop they will bend it for you

 

muffler shop maybe, but they dont have dies for anything under standard muffler sizes, so chances are if its 1" OD or anything else small, it will still bend in half
