Very nice very nice. I'm a flatbed guy myself. My ole bed is 100% aluminum. What's the weight of your bed. And are your tires going to rub once you flex it out a bit. How bout that bumper is it got a winch mount in it? Here's my bed

What else are you planing on building. Maybe custom sliders?

I think the bed came in at 250 pounds... Sounds like a lot but it's actually lighter than the stock steel. As far as rubbing I have never had an issue, it flexes just fine. Of course if I want bigger tires I will have to lift it. Unfortunately at the time I constructed the front bumper I didn't think I'd want a winch but of course it'd always be nice so no it doesn't a winch mount (yet). Haha what are my next plans... I'm obviously in the midst of a hitch but In my eyes the front skid plate doesn't fit the look anymore so I'm sure that'll be soon to come

Also I always love to see fellow flatbed-ers, great work there, I like the all aluminum look

Added a set of new Bilstein shocks and I am amazed of the quality of these shocks. I took out a set of KYB'S and I will never go back. The ride quality and responsiveness of these shocks is far superior to the KYB's I had under the truck previously. And for $60/shock shipped to my door I couldn't resist! I recommend Bilstein to everyone... I used Autoplicity.com to order these but went off of the bilstein websites part numbers. Ordered Wednesday on my lunch break and had them Friday night!

Would you be able to send me a pm with the dimensions for the front bumper? I'm looking to build one similar to that but I don't know how or where to start. Did you have to do modifications to the front of the frame or bumper mounts? I have a 93 pickup and it seems like it can't be that hard.

I am back in school now, so I haven't had a ton of time but i got to do a little exploring the other day and heres a couple pics of how the truck looks now. I added the roof rack and I like the look of it plus it added even more functionality!

I also have bought an LED off road light bar to mount on the rack but with me being in school I haven't had time to design and machine the mounts. We also got swamped at work so I haven't had time to get caught back up with machining more shift knobs for those of you that had ordered! Trying to get caught up with jobs and shift knobs then ill knock out some light bar mounts.

Damn that might be the most awesome flatbed job I've seen! Looks great. I wouldn't mind one of those from bumpers for my runner! Very good work.

It was actually custom built by the guy i bought it from, him and his son built it out of an old goose neck trailer and some sheet metal. Its a great bed for a shadetree farm weld job!

I have decided to take the roof rack off as I never used it... Not even once. If anyone is interested in this its Yakima 1A rain gutter towers and 48" crossbars I'm willing to sell it. Now I am still trying to decided where to mount my LED bar... Thoughts?

Here's my flatbed. Not finished yet but functional. I'm planning on fabbing up a drawer that will slide out under the back and will take up the space where the spare tire was. Haven't touched the truck in a couple months but hope to get back to it soon.

I like the idea of the sliding drawer for storage! I need to get a hitch system fabricated for mine, but I just cant seem to find time to devote to it
