Looks really good...... Although I do see a problem that your going to have. You didn't lift the bed off the frame which is going to lead clearance issues. Trust me I'm a flatbed guru. My first glad bed I built I used a 6" I beam for my main runners. Then built my bed on top of that. As soon as your rearend flexes your gonna rub man. Here's a pic of my aluminum one.
If you look closely you can see that my bed has 2" blocks between it and the frame. I'm running 33" tires with 2" blocks in rear end plus add a lead and I still slightly rub.

Sweet one, that must've been pretty pricey the aluminum?
But Yea, if that ever comes up, ill address it then, the springs i have on the back right now dont really like to flex, i went out recently and didnt notice any rub, the springs are 4" lift, and i have 2" lift shackles waiting to go in.
If I notice any rub, i have some left over metal, probably cut the metal at the edge of the tires and box out the outer frame at 45* angles

Not pricy at all... A couple buddies built those beds for a commercial company. They used scratch aluminum to build mine for me. I took measurements and they welded it all up. I do bet ya that mine out ways yours by at least 200 pound too lol. It's about 200 pound heavier then a stock toyota bed.
Here's another

Looks nice !!
To bad your so far away!!
I would put you to work Just think what you could do with a Real welder.
Your old bed was in better shape then any of mine from the pictures I saw.
Living in NJ I could understand the need for all the lights Still people will say they could not see your truck.

Small world Huh?
oh andersej and dsal_86Yota Thanks!
Thanks, Yea, Jersey people drive horrible, thats one reason, the other reason is for after you go through a deep hold and you get stuck, people still know your stopped! That happened to my buddy once. Suprizingly that welders really good, i only paid like 130 for it, but theres no compairison to the miller we have at my firehouse, thats the one i used to weld on all my tow points and frame re-enforcements. (Im still a newbie to welding, but i like to think im pretty decent)
But if you saw a pic of under the bedliner, it was bad, i one of the fenders were only being held on by the side bed panel
But newpic, i just lifted the trucks front, looks much better!
But because of a recent surgery to my wrist, i cant do anything to the beast for the next 6 weeks, so the fenders and toolboxes are gonna have to wait for a bit unfortunately, as with the set of KM2's i have to put on it
