wow sucks seeing that fire damage. What all got toasted on the rig...tires, interior? Hope it wasn't too bad.

Thanks Yes, its a 3.4 and luckily it wasn't hurt.

I was welding, grinding, and torching that morning and when I came back that afternoon every window in my house was blacked-out. Usually when the fire truck comes to my house Im driving it and the lights and sirens aren't on

Fire investigator/Tachedoutoffroad president (me) has determined that something hot started a tiny fire which smoldered for seven hours and did $49,800 worth of damage to my house. PLUS all our stuff

The truck is just kinda melty. The roof, whole passenger side, mirrors, and interior panels are gooey. My home owners insurance doesn't cover my truck and I havent insured it because its not street worthy yet .

Im going on a week long, high profile ride in July that I cant talk about, so Im lucky that the house didnt totally burn and destroy my truck.

Nobody was home and staying up welding in the garage is something that Ive done 1,000 times before and then gone to bed I was lucky that this happened during the day, in an empty house.

My truck finally has a name

The Dragon Wagon

I thought that "The Phoenix," "Smokey," and "Burnt Truck" were all kind of "homosexual."

I plan on going riding every weekend this month so hopefully there will be a few good pics to post

A friend in my club is going to paint it for FREE too!

I busted my gas tank at GreyRock and am putting in a fuel cell and painting it this weekend.

The hood is just an aftermarket fibergalss one.

Well, the top link bent b/c the crossmember bent :homer: yep, Im a dumbass. I fixed it, but still let my driveshaft get into my top link just a little and do this



I got to ride all weekend even after that untill I busted my gas tank.

Fuel cell with factory pump and fuel gage! Cut about 1" out of the pump bracket and it worked great.








Much cleaner under here. Now I just need to bust that giant muffler
