I should take a picture of my first welds. They look like small BB around a piece of pipe. Yours are trully amazing and so is the rest of your work. Congrads on making everybody on Yotatech feel like a newb.

Your work is amazing. Those welds almost look too good to be the result of a first attempt. I guess those surgery skills same in handy (you said you were a surgeon right?). What kind of surgeon?

Anyways, great job! I'm so jealous

wow.. just wow. seriously, how much would you want for the plans? I go to a technical college, and I could simply give them the CAD file and let them go to town...

Incredible build on the bumpers, Dr. Your welding skills and English are both better than you think. If I lived closer to UCLA, I'd meet you and let you measure up my 1988 4 Runner and see what plans you could come up with for bumpers.

Thanks for the great write up, Phil

Nice work. I would so buy that if it were available locally, and for my 84 pickup truck.

Best bumper I've seen, ever. Hands down. That is exactly, to a tee, 100% what I envision for my truck. It's a shame Front Range discontinued their bumper, damn shame!

I'm the biggest anti-tube bumper fan around. Cheaper, easier to make but just not appealing =/

Bravo! Wish you were Washington not spain tho! haha

Ok buddies !!!
Lets update this. Due to spanish stupid, f/&¿?%ng laws, we are not allowd to put that kind of blinkers on the bumper.... (Orange reflectice).
So we decided to modify the bumper for better.(hope so...)
Let´s see...
We are going to fit corner light bulbs into the position light optic.
And the bumper is going to recieve two nice Hella ff 75 fog lights, hahahahaha !!!
We think that will be cooler.
Until we don´t recieve the new lights I´ll post a photoshop to give you some idea.
The only bad think is that we are going to have to repaint the bumper, but it will look much better.
Hope you like the idea !!!
Cheers

Too bad about the lights... razzafrazzin' laws... always getting in the way of a good time...
There was a link in here someplace about converting the front corner lights to dual purpose running/turn signals with an 1157 stop/tail light lamp/socket but I'm not sure how well it worked out...
of course you do have access to those nice euro-spec front corner running/turn lamps as well...
the hella ffs look good ...

So basically you can't have the turn signal in the bumper? Am I hearing this correctly? Or is it the yellow one?

No he can't have an amber reflector one, turn signal in bumper not the issue.

ah... gotcha. Such weird laws. What is even more entertaining is finding out how so many of these stupid laws came to be... I wonder what the story is behind this one, lol.
