alright guys ive used search and checked some other sites, does any one have a good site and or thread to some directions of makeing half doors? i get the whole cutting thing but what about rolling the metel over to fill in the gap and how to redo the latches so they still work? any help would be must appreiated! thanks!

 

Ive seen people using 2x4s or just tack welding a piece of flat steel on top?

Once you get the door open, You'll be able to to see how to set up a latch system.
People use tool box latches. Here is a good half-door thread.
