The pictures I posted are on the starting post I thought it would be common sense to put them at the beginning so that they can be seen as the post is opened.

Now I think this calls for a common sense check and a for Tacoclimber.

Look here, Noob. When you post a thread talking about a stinger bumper, cause a great deal of salivation on the part of the membership, and then fail to post pictures for several days, and THEN go and do something sensical, like post the pictures at the beginning of the thread, you can't expect us to expect that!

On another note, this could be the beginning of another "BAN" thread. So, in honor of the original, I you corvettelvr73.

By the way, bumper looks good. I may have to you simply out of envy.

It might be a good idea to switch the stinger to tube and incorporate headlight hoops. Larger diameter tube of .120" wall will weigh less and be stronger than 1" round bar. You might also want to get it painted, at least to cover up the retarted TRD on the front.

First you post a topic like yours

NEW STINGER BUMPER BUILD
Here you explain in detail what you have done or plan on doing I.E.

Ok Lady's and gentlman I have come to the concluison that i need a better off road so bumper so I have decided to build a front bumper for my truck. Here are the idea's I have come up with (INSERT YOUR IDEA HERE WITH DRAWING'S ECT.) Then after your detailed explanation of your intent ask for advice like this.
Well that's my plan doe's anyone see something I may have missed or would work better for my idea?

After you have taken all idea's into concederation and you have your plan layed out you then proceed to the build and along the way you add (POST PROGRESS PIC'S HERE WITH ANY DETAIL'S YOU THINK WOULD BE HELPFUL AND ASK QUESTION'S FOR ADVICE AS THE BUILD PROGRESS'S) EXAMPLE BELOW:

OK guy's I am sure more then a few of you know I have been building a front bumper for my 90 4runner and I am very close to finished so I have decided to post this pic up of the almost complete bumper and wonder if you may have any imput as to if there's anything else I may need to do before building the mounts and sending it out for LINE Xing?

DID YOU NOTICE THE PIC?
It serve's two purpose's
1. It give's people idea's of what they would have done differtily and you learn a thing or two about what work's and what will not and where you can improve or delete thing's
2. YOU OVER WELMINGILY FEED THE CROWD THERE NEED FOR PICTURE'S AND VISIULE GRADIFICATION.

I hope that this has hepled you learn what is expected in a good post where mod's are concerned. If not read it again and study it step by step and you will be on the road to GREAT BUILD UP POSTING.

The stinger is made from 1" solid The weight is the only problem but it doesnt need to be any stronger if that bumber or stinger gets messed up the truck will be totaled because TOYOTA frames are very small and the weak link in any bumber situation. Doesnt matter how tough and strong the bumper is if what it is bolted to isnt going to handle it. I like the look of it because it is different, I was worried that the 1" bar would look too small but in person it doesnt. The bumper still needs a little work and that is why I havent paint it and using the word retarted is ignorant.
