so a few more q's..can the sides be made to accomodate the flares so they are flush or a bit further out to protect from some bumps. also could you post a straight on shot so i (with the help of skills from yt members that is) could photoshop the sucker. that bumper is tits, id be lookin at summer time to get it.

I can put anything anywhere. The only reason the bottom skirt is where it is ,is to give the bumper some dimension. It breaks up a big block into smaller blocks so it doesnt look like a giant mass on the front of the truck. Unfortunately i dont have a front on shot that isnt all blurry. but i will take a pic of it tomorrow off the truck and you can paste it .
Btw. I dont know if i mentioned this but i put one of these bumpers (steel one)on a 4 runner years ago and it looked excellent.

That is a great looking bumper! I'd love to have something exactly like that in steel on my 2nd Gen! Wish I had the funds to have you build one. FWIW, $1500 CDN is only about $38.50, but I need to get gas tomorrow.

The bottom skirt is great where it is, and thats a very aethesetically appealing part of the bumper itself.. what i was talking about is the top width being aligned with the flares and not just the sheet metal fender..it looks more aligned on your webshots folder on the green taco than on the silver one.

Ahhh. Yea. Actually i made the aluminum bumper a bit wider to cover the plastic flares. Even if you wanted it wider yet or narrower. No big deal. Can make it any size you like.

1500.00 CAD = 1,166.23 USD as of 3.8.09

they have currency converters online and they are fairly easy to use

Hey 2themax. I think you have things a little backwards. The Canadian dollar is worth less that the American dollar. So it would actually be closer to $1165 as of 3.8.09. Apparently the converters are not as simple as you thought.

Maybe its my eyes, but thats pretty much what he said, with the exception of a 1.23 difference
