Big Problem!!!

Ok, so I finally got my allpro upper links installed... getting the old ones off sucked, especially the one on the gas tank. Now the problem i'm having is this, now that the links have been adjusted to longer then stock to fix my pinion angle, now the top of the control arm bracket(superlift) hits the side of the panhard mount on up travel. (see diagram)

now should I just back off the links until they clear, or can I cut the little metal flap that comes off the side of the panhard triangle so that it passes by???!!

thanks guys

your gonna have to shorten up the link til it clears, unless you reinforce the brace after cutting.

Nothing to add other than I love the illustration.

A better way would have been to relocate the lower link frame mount foward, even better yet get a pair of heimed custom links made. Lengthning the upper links just cause problems with that crossmember.

Man, IFS lifts rule!

Illustration was killer, but Mike beat me to that.

I find my stock lower mounts are rock hangers, adding a bracket makes it even worse I would imagine. As a result, stock uppers with longer remounted lowers sound good to me, provided they will give enough adjustment and not lead to funky binding.
