Bending back an ARB

I was thinking since I had it off, I would try and massage it back with a hammer and some heat. Its not coming back that straight. I tried using a straight chisel, and it just puts nicks in it.

Anyone give me some pointers on what tools or methods to get the bend back straight?

I know its supposed to get dinged up, but, I can't put this thing on my truck until ARB sends out a new crush can anyways, so I got time to screw around with it.

Thanks for your help.

Wow no help? The bumper itself is not bent, just that little area... I guess I can try getting some steel stock and using it as a die as I pound it flat...

well ur going about it correctly, but your going to have to get it red hot to be able to pound down that area.. i wouldnt use a chisel either.. just a drift, or a piece of round stock.. would it be possible to get it in a press and press it out. what size hammer u using... id suggest at least a 4lb mini sledge and really wack it. im assuming that the bumper is made of steel close to 1/4 plate or bigger so its going to take some pounding.
