ALLPRO weld in cage?
#2
looks pretty simple.... check locally on a custom cage as you will need to have it professionally welded and it might be cheaper to have one built since they will charge you quite a bit
unless you are a welder you really wanna be sure it done correctly since it could save your life

They no longer make the rear 1/2 of the cage, so you'll be stuck with just the driver/pass seats being protected.
I installed one in my 86 xcab and I think it's a good off-the shelf alternative to a custom cage. I said "good", not "great".
If you go this route, plan on spending 20-40 hours getting it just right. Throw the floor plates in the track immediately, as they are not big enough - replace them with 4"x6" plates so you can cover the entire body mount, not just 1/2 like AP suggests. Then have it professionally welded.
Personally, for $350 + $120 in shipping that it cost me, I'd likely have a custom one made next time. Last quote I got from a race car builder back in the mid '90's for an 8-point cage for my old 4Runner was under $800. And if I cage my current 4Runner, it will be done by a pro...
