3rd gen rear bumper build, finished w/ pics
I decided to build it off of the hitch reciever and then add two mounts to either side. I did however turn the reciever over to bring it up two inches. Heres what I've got so far.
Im hoping to get it tacked together after work tommorrow so I can start building up on the sides, or atleast figure out what I want anyways.

HAHAHA I just finished the bumper, I'll get some pics in the morning before I put it on and after I put it on. The paints curing overnight..... I feel like a kid on christmas

Im gonna take it off friday morning and sand a couple spots down and repaint so I'll take some pics while its off, I forgot to this morning, I was too anxious to get it on

F'in rights yeeha..awesome work mossy, that bumper looks stout! i just picked up this exact hitch last week to do the hitchflip thing but it still hangs too low. hopefully i can get somethin like yours made up. that design is badass...youre not running a BL are you?

well they are a solid piece around the outside tube and welded to it and the frame mount on the reciever. The mounts on the ARB are 1/8" and we jerked the sh~t outta them and they didn't bend, These are 1/4". If I have a problem with side pulling I might add a 90` to the side, but I think they'll be fine.

I didn't have a problem but just in case the shackle hangers are now 3/4" . I used a plasma torch to cut the holes in them after going through 4 hole saws and 2 bits (never making it through) so Im gonna clean it up with a file and sand it down and repaint it. I'll get some pics up of it un-mounted.

so you say your thinking of selling something like this huh?? lol, i have zero skills like this and am loking for a rear bumper/front bumper and want to know how much you would think about charging for something like this?

ok heres the revised final product on and off the 4runner (sorry the ones on are at night).
I added plates to cover the crap under the tailights
Beefed up the shackle hangers
I would have to say with time and supplies roundabout $700 The only thing is I would have to do some things off the runner because things move over time. Im gonna be building a tube bumper and a front bumper soon which would be easier so stay tuned for that
