The renderings are great for fun but I personally don't see much use in them unless they are exact dimensions and can be used for 3-D modeling such as CATIA, Solidworks, or Pro-E...

Props on the skills though, I could never get those lofts right in Solidworks...

hate to drag up an old thread, but is there any way I could get a copy of this in an autocad .dwg file? If anybody knows of a place online where i can download it or send it to me that would be great, thanks!

So rad, man. Awesome job. I know it's been a while since your last post, but I'd love to get a copy of the model. Do you still have it available?

I'm a maya user with some crazy pop top plans for the capper on my '88, and i wanna fully lay them out in 3D before i start hacking away. Lemme know!

That is an amazing 3d Model! I've started working on a solidworks version myself, but it's not nearly as detailed yet. Are you still willing to send out a dxf version of the file? It would be extremely helpful with my modeling process! Thanks and great work!

Back from the dead!!!

Hey guys,

I never did anything more with this model. But I'm thinking about 3d printing it for a 1:10 scale rc. So I pulled it out of the dusty bin and now I'm finally sharing it like I said I would a lifetime ago.

by the way, it sucks so bad that photobucket dumped all the good old day pics huh? I don't even have some of the old stuff. oh well.

SHOW ME WHAT YOU DO WITH IT!
