3-link Joint options??

building my rear 3-link on my 94 4runner

what type of rod ends do you think are better: heims or RE style (johnny joint)

how about mixing. for the upper link heims give some fine adjustment

i have 4 x 3/4" heims and 2 RE joints stockpiled

anybody got any measurements for a 2nd gen 4Runner?? i am planning on moving my gas tank so thats not a problem

thanks

go with the johnny joint if its a DD rig. the johnny joints are rebuildable, so when they get sloppy you can replace the bushings unlike most heims.

if you want adjustability, currie sells the joints with a threaded stud attached

if you want a really heavy duty joint, evolution machining makes a probably the strongest rebuildable joint there is. Other than that I'd go with a johnny joint over re. The new jjs have forged bodies which makes a big difference in strength.
