I picked this truck up in Jan. 2010, I did not have the cash to fund a build like this. This truck has everything i wanted.
1983 Toyota Pickup sitting on an 87 4Runner frame. Its got a 22re swapped from an 87 mated to the 83 five speed tranny. Dual transfercase's with 2.28--2.28 gears twin sticked. Rear diff is out of an newer efi truck with 5.29's, front diff is the 83 with 5.29's and 1.5'' spacers. Lock front and rear. 5'' TrailGear front and rear lift springs with bilstien shocks, front TrailGear shock hoops, TrailGear hi-steer with hydro assist. Its got the TrailGear Dirty-30's and stock rear axels. 37'' Irok tires on 15'' DC wheels. Allpro rear deck and in cab roll bar. Marlin Crawler front bumper and a M8000 winch, had the synthetic line but it was crap so i put the steel line back in. Rock sliders, and TG tansfercase cross member. Chevy rear disc break conv. TG long slip DS front and rear, im sure there is more. Future plans are to paint the truck, and so far thats it. Have to wait till summer is here to see how it performs in the bush. Things to fix before the snow is all gone.
Front output shaft seal on transfercase
Front passenger side shock, and maybe rear pass shock.
Possibly E-Break. Going to try and set it up going off the break pedal??? Maybe.
