Shawn's '91 Trail Rig Progect

Okay, I am looking at dropping a good deal of money into my 4Runner to get her up and runnin' the trails in style, so here is the chronicle.

FACTORY OPTIONS:
-4.56:1 ratio
-31" tires
-sunroof
-4x4
-power everything
-swingout tire carrier
-Auto Tranny
-ADD hubs
-DARK tint!

CURRENT MODS:
-K&N cone filter
-cheapo seat covers
-Pioneer CD deck
-4" Infinity Speakers
-32X11.5R15 BFG All-Terrain
-All-Pro 1.5" rear coils
-Tranny cooler

My vehicle is currently on this setup, and I just recently ordered a whole slew of new gear to get my rig trail-ready, with I think to be an interesting twist. Basically, this rig will have all the goodies to make it a fantastic offroad vehicle, but since my rig is a daily driver, I need it to be comfy on the road, both short-and long-haul. That is why my interior is going to be decked out in the best way possible. I will categorize the mods for clarity:

SUSPENSION/DRIVETRAIN:
-OME 5.5" rear coils
-All-Pro control arms
-All-Pro brake lines
-Roger Brown drop panhard bracket
-Roger Brown 1.5" BJ spacers
-33X12.5R15 ProComp Mud Terrain
-15X8 black rock crawler wheels
-ProComp ES3000 shocks &steering stabalizer
-Power-Lock rear differential

ENGINE:
-ISR PVC mod
-custom snorkel w/ ARB head
-Optima YellowTop battery
**I am keeping the engine as stock as possible, as it is a brand-new engine with less than 5K miles on it.. A 3.0 with pep, who'da figured, lol!

BODY:
-Downey flat top fenders
-custom front/rear bumpers
-custom rock sliders
-CB/AM/FM antennae
-Mount for 5 gal. gas can
-mount for Hi-Lift
-fullsize 33X12.5 spare tire

INTERIOR:
-Wet Okole seat covers front and rear (purple on black)
-Custom amp rack in rear
-400W 12" subwoofer
-90W 6.5" front speakers (mounted on dash)
-35W 4" rear speakers (mounted in rear w/ sub)
-three amplifiers totalling 600W+
-three LCD monitors (two in headrests, one in dash)
-JVC DVD/CD head unit
-custom purple accents everywhere
-custom fiberglass amp rack/ sub-speaker box in rear
-hard-wired 400W power invertor
-PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox hookups

Now for the pictures of the stocker:

And here she is after most prep work being done, engaging in an RTI test at the local offroad shop. She got up to 14.5" above the ground, combine that with a 103-inch wheelbase on a 20 degree ramp, and her score is as follows: 412

If anyone wants to talk to me about this, give me ideas, call me crazy, just drop me a PM, okay?

This is not even close to done, as I am likely to add many more mods to her besides the above, and plenty of pics will follow! She is destined for Moab, Big Bear, and the psychotic mountains around SW Montana (We actually have a range called "Crazy Mountains")

Here is a list of what I have not ordered yet, but will soon:
-Second Skin Mat Damplifier (100 feet)
-Downey headers
-Flowmaster 40 or 50 Series pipe
-New spark wires

This list will undoubtedly get longer, but believe it or not, all of the above is just my STARTING list!
